a mixed stay, some issues noted
excellent location beach access old rooms unacceptable rooms
the location was excellent for access to the beach.
the rooms were old and felt outdated i found the cleanliness to be below standard. the rooms felt more like a two-star experience, and that was disappointing.

clean rooms comfortable beds plenty of food
i enjoyed the clean rooms and the comfortable beds. the air conditioning worked great (it's very effective!). the food was also good throughout my stay with plenty of options available.

We arrived and were swiftly checked in. The room was very spacious. We also enjoyed fine in-room dining. The hotel has a pool that kids loved. The jacuzzi was also quite spacious..

The front desk staff handled check-in quickly. The food included a diverse buffet with both local and international options. The hotel scheduled trips to Colombo and the lagoon. The location had easy access to nearby shops and the fish market.
The pool tiles had razor sharp edges.

The pools are beautiful, and i used them a lot. The beach is also close. The hotel includes karaoke, this was great. The older part of the hotel need a spruce up.

The breakfast offered a large choice. I found standard dishes available. Local food was also available. The hotel accommodated special anniversary celebration with a cake.

The general MANAGER spoke to me several times. This checked how things were. The staff went the extra mile. The front desk team handled my needs quickly and efficiently.

The beach location was convenient. My room had a great view. The restaurant offered a Christmas Eve dinner. It included very nice variety and selection. I enjoyed the pool table. I also made use of the spa. The staff was great.
The room latch was broken. A piece was missing. This meant the door was not locking properly, but the maintenance team fixed it promptly
